LunchCruncher's privacy policy is pretty simple, and everything in it exists to protect your personal information to
the best of our ability:
- We will not share your email address or physical address(es) with any other user of this site, nor with any
third-party.
- We store your password in our database in an encrypted format. We cannot reverse that encryption, so even
we don't know your password. However, we will never share your password (encrypted or otherwise) with anyone.
- We will not share your real name with anyone, unless you choose to allow your real name to be shown
on the site. (By default your first name and last name are not shown. To show them in your profile,
you can edit your privacy settings).
- Except for the above, we do not collect any personal information from you. In fact, you are not required
to enter your full name or physical address(es) when creating an account on LunchCruncher.
- It was already said above, but this is very important to a lot of people, and to us: We will not
share your email address with anyone for marketing purposes, creating spam, or any other irritating things. In fact,
we will not share your email address with anyone. Your email address will
also never be visible on the site to other users. There is no option at this time to either enable or disable
the showing of your email address; it will simply not be shown.
- Important: We may reveal some or all of the contents of our database, possibly including your account
information, in order to comply with law(s),
supoena(s), or other court-mandated requirements. In such a case, we will do everything we can do to protect
your personal information. (Don't worry, we're not in any legal trouble, but that had to be said).
If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy, please check your account's
privacy settings or
contact us.
